In this blog post, I want to share with you about the goodness of God. In fact, I want to give you 10 reasons why you need to know about the goodness of God. So here we go.
- Knowing that God is good will change your entire concept of God and who He is.
- Psalm 145:8,9 Psalm 119:68
- The goodness of God causes you to know God is not your problem, He is your answer.
- God is not out to get you; He is not mad or angry with you.
- Luke 6:35
- The goodness of God is designed to bring you to Him.
- Romans 2:4
- God’s goodness will produce faith in you in God.
- Romans 10:17
- God’s goodness makes you fall in love with God.
- 1 John 4:19
- God’s goodness is expressed in His grace and mercy.
- Remember grace is God giving you what you don’t deserve. ie. Forgiveness, Salvation, Heaven
- Mercy is when God does not give us what we deserve! ie. Hell
- God’s goodness has eliminated your failure and given you Christ’s Righteousness.
- 2 Corinthians 5:21
- God’s goodness and believing it, will give you back your hope.
- Jeremiah 29:11
- You have not out sinned God’s grace and goodness.
- God’s goodness gives you your dream back.
- The goodness of God helps you to realize success is always possible in any situation.
- Romans 8:31,32
- One of the greatest things about God’s goodness is that it destroys the works of the devil, our accuser.
- Psalm 103:10-12
- Isaiah 38:17
