Three Tactics the Devil Uses Part 2

In this blog, I want to look at another tactic the devil uses to keep us from receiving healing. In part 1, we looked at how our thoughts play a tremendous role in receiving healing from God. Now in part 2, we will look at how the devil uses our feelings against us to keep us from healing.

Three Tactics the Devil Uses Part 1

In this blog, I want to look at 3 tactics the devil uses to keep us from receiving healing. In part 1, I will address how our

thoughts play a tremendous role in whether we receive healing from God. We all have thoughts because we all have minds but knowing all our thoughts do not originate with us, is important for us to understand. The truth is our minds become the battleground satan attacks in hopes of we believe his lies. Our thought with liberate us or keep us in bondage, the devil knows that so he attacks our thought life.

Three Things that Love Does

As we grow in our relationship with God, we find God want us to grow in our relationships with others as well. By studying the scriptures on how God loves us, it shows us a picture of how God expects us to love others. In this blog I want to share with you three things that love does.

The Will of God Part 2

One of the most important subjects God want us to understand is His will. In this blog I want to pick up where I left off in Part 1 and look at four things that God’s Word tells us is His will for our lives.

Salvation is part of God’s will and plan for your life! 1 Timothy 2:4 tells us, who will all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, God is not willing that any should be lost, but that all should come to repentance. Romans 10:13, tell us, for whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever would include anyone that wants Jesus to be their Lord. In John 6:37 Jesus said; …and him that comes to Me I will not reject.  To learn how to make Jesus your Lord, check out Our Need for God in the About Us section on the home page.

The Will of God Part 1

We are exhorted as believers in Ephesians to understand what the will of the Lord is. That simply means we can know the will of God and it doesn’t have to be a mystery for any of us. Ephesians 5:17 (AMP) reads, therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is. We must realize the will of God is a very important subject that we should give attention to, understand, and become clear in our hearts and minds about. In this blog I want to share a few important things that we should understand about the will of God.

Important Spiritual Exercises

Exercise is designed to help us stay fit and be healthier. In this blog I want us to look at together
4 Spiritual Exercises we need in our lives.
1)  Love
Hebrews 13:1 (AMP) Let love for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you [never let it fail]. Notice how love is to be a fixed practice in us.
2)  Praise Hebrews 13:15 AMPL. Through Him , therefore let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of our lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His Name. Notice how we are admonished to constantly and at all time praise God.

Reaching Out

If we have the heart of God we should care about people. In this blog I want to share some practical ways to improve reaching those outside the faith. These are the three simple but powerful things that can help any believer be better at reaching those outside the faith.

How’s Your Faith

You may or may not have given much thought about your faith life recently but as we study the Bible we become aware of the fact that we should. When we consider Jesus commanded us in Mark 11:22 to have faith in God and in 2 Corinthians 13:5 we are told to examine, test, or evaluate ourselves to see if we are really living in the faith, then we see it must be pretty important. Today I want to remind you that your faith in God is one of the most precious commodities you have in life. When you consider these four truths about faith, hopefully it will help you see how valuable your faith in God really is.

The Good News

In this blog I want to talk to you about some Good News. Many times, life seems full of everything else but Good News. Whether it is the daily news, a report you’ve heard, or something that has happened to a friend or relative, life can seem overwhelming at times. In the midst of all of this, God wants us to know and understand His Good News. God’s Good News is called the gospel. The gospel simply means Good News and specifically it is the Good News of the Kingdom of God and salvation through Jesus Christ. To God, the gospel is always connected to Jesus Christ and what was wrought for mankind through Him.

Run Your Race

I want to take a moment in this blog to encourage you about your life and what you will do with it in the New Year. Hopefully you already have thoughts and expectations of the good things God has for you as His son or daughter. So today I want to remind you that God tells us in His Word we are in a race. Hebrews 12:1 tells us, “wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight, and sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us”.

This scripture tells us we have great examples in the Word of how to live this life of faith. Then it tells us we are to do some spiritual housecleaning, which means to get rid of anything that will slow us down or stop us from really doing God’s will. Then lastly it exhorts us not to give up on the race we are in. Did you know that we each have a race to run? Not just pastors or ministers, but we each do as believers. God is saying our Christian life is like a race we run for Him and He wants us to run it to win. So now that I have reminded you about your race, I want to give you 5 things our Christian life or race is about.
