In this blog, I want to look at some things that God in His Word tells us are precious. Precious meaning dear, beloved, valuable to the higher degree, to be prized. So, we get the idea these are important to God and hopefully after knowing that, we view them that way as well. So what does God call precious? 1 Peter 2:4 tells us God calls Jesus chosen and precious. 1 Peter 2:7 tells us Jesus is to be precious to everyone who believes in Him. 1 Peter 1:19 tells us God calls the blood of Jesus Christ precious. 2 Peter 1:1 tells us believers share the same precious faith. 1 Peter 1:7 tells us God calls the genuineness of our faith precious. 2 Peter 1:4 tells us God call His Word, exceedingly great and precious. Psalms 49:8 tells us God calls the redemption of our souls precious. Psalms 72:12-14 tells us God calls our deliverance, freedom, and life precious in His sight. Psalms 139:17-18 tells us God calls the death of every saint precious. James 5:7 tells us God calls people the precious fruit of the earth. Hopefully, after reading over these, you can see yourself as being part of what God calls precious. Simply but surely, you are precious to God.
